Beware! The Not-so-good-at-portraits-yet and Not-yet-a-pastel-artist!

The title explains a lot. I made this imaginary portrait with soft pastel chalks, Van Dyke of Eberhard Faber brand. I find them pretty nice to work with, I can't wait to work with them again, on a big paper, and in the studio.
The thing is that the portrait looks horrible and only more horrible. I put it here, because I want to see how I will evolve from this point on...
