Studying from Photographs - Part 1

The following two are my drawing studies from a photo of Edwin F. Townsend dated c.1930. I have it in the 2000 edition of this book. I may say that it is a book for the male gay, but the guys are naked, so it's a good source for the male nude study.
The first one is on a small paper. The second one is on a 50x70cm paper but cropped it a little bit from the length.
